    The Role

    We are excited to bring eager, talented students on board and provide them with an unparalleled internship experience.  The Entegris Intership Program consists of real work experience, cross-functional learning and development opportunities, and a variety of social and volunteeering events.

     

    The Engineering Technician Intern will be tackling the challenge of replacing helium as a leak detection gas. Helium is critical as a means to detect leaks before closed systems are used for handling highly toxic materials. It is also a finite resource that has supply interruptions on an increasing basis. For the sustainability of the Specialty Gas BU an alternative needs to be identified, tested, and implemented.

    In this role you will

    • Learn gas manufacturing processes and safety control systems
    • Test alternative leak detection gases using standard detectors and other analytical tools
    • Complete statistical analysis on data and present report out to factory leadership team

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to analyze data using statistical software
    • Desired Major: Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
    • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2019 or later.
