    The Role

    Our team is looking for an experienced Quality Manager with the ability to lead positive change in support of high tech manufacturing.  With the fast pace of innovation in the semiconductor and aerospace industries, you must build a zero-defect mindset and a data driven culture of continuous improvement in pursuit of efficiency, predictability, and capability.  Our ideal candidate can look forward to managing plant quality while working with a talented multi-disciplined international team to solve complex problems and deliver internal and external customer satisfaction.  We expect that you will collaborate, share, and be ready to learn and grow in a team that partners closely with its customers.

    This role is based at our Decatur, TX facility.

    In this role you will

    • Be a leader in directing and advancing the “Entegris Way” in accordance with defined policies and procedures. Complete analyses and audits on processes to drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and overall effectiveness;
    • Be a data-driven, hands-on Manager that can guide others in the application of best practices in areas such as risk-based thinking, change management, statistical process control and product and process validation and qualification;
    • Work on multiple complex projects exercising sound judgement in the use of statistical methods, techniques, and valuation criteria to determine results and draw conclusions that will move us forward;
    • Take responsibility for quality activities from raw materials to the end customer while expanding the concept of “quality ownership” throughout the Entegris organization. This includes validation and qualification of changes and new products or materials, customer complaint resolution, and continual improvements of our products and business processes;
    • Influence your cross functional partners to achieve our strategic quality initiatives and to meet or exceed customer expectations;

    • Effective application of risk-based thinking and root cause analysis tools;
    • Ability to communicate persuasively with internal and external customers;
    • Ability to influence across the organization;
    • Ability to lead problem solving teams that include driving to root cause & implementing change;
    • Minimally a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technical discipline;
    • Minimally 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a significant amount of that time successfully leading quality related initiatives.
