    The Role

    The Entegris CamLine team is vital to maintaining the functionality of Entegris’ Supplier Quality, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Customer Quality Systems.  This program applies SPC software from Incoming materials through all steps in production to final product including all measurements and Certificates of Analysis (COA).  The SPC Systems Engineer is responsible for implementing and administering this program for designated facilities. The role is based in the Burnet, TX chemical plant.

    In this role you will

    • Work closely with technical staff and/or outside resources to determine technical solutions and/or applications to meet the identified requirements;
    • Support users to solve software issues such as missing data or incorrect data in SPC database, Suppliers COA upload failures, Customer COA generation failures, COA template changes, etc.;
    • Ensure instruments and machines are communicating with software and data is available in SPC database;
    • Work closely with users on the appropriateness of the process control charts and evaluate the maturity of the charts and drive towards higher maturity level on a periodical basis. Example: assist/advise in setting up charts, make changes or update charts properties;
    • Support software and hardware new installation or upgrades. Example: rolling out new camLine versions or replace camLine server;
    • Perform integration and testing for Input COA from suppliers and output COA to Customers;
    • Maintain and updates documents related to SPC system software;
    • Educate users of the software tools. Conduct training for SPC, SQM, CQM and Stargate system modules.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Bachelor’s Degree with experience as an engineer or software administrator with SPC used in operations desired;
    • Knowledge on camLine software and OPC servers preferred;
    • Flexibility and calm under pressure, and a creative approach to solving problems;
    • Effective communicator;
    • Ability to travel 5-10%.

    • Level of training and support provided to users concerning SPC software issues;
    • Taking the SPC charts to a higher level of maturity.
