    The Role

    The Quality Inspector performs a wide variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products. Demonstrates familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures. Works under minimal supervision. 


    In this role you will

    • Approve incoming materials, in process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting unacceptable materials; creating quality notification for non-conformances
    • Communicating discrepancies to production supervisor
    • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database
    • Conducting process audits
    • Performing Capability studies
    • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs
    • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
    • Understands and applies statistical process control techniques, including basic chart interpretation and capability analysis

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Good oral and written communication skills, proficient with excel, technical training in blueprint reading, good values, willingness to learn, thorough, detailed orientated, open to feedback
    • Skilled using a variety of measurement equipment including calipers, pin gage set, height gage, test indicator, micrometer, pitch micrometer, dial indicator, surface plate, optical comparator, smart scope, and coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
    • 4-6 years’ experience as an inspector in a manufacturing environment preferred
