    The Role

    Entegris is seeking two Engineering Technicians to expand our new product development team.  In this role, you will work closely with our Advisory Chemists and other senior members on a dynamic, global team.  You will support new product development and experience the excitement of product releases.  If you are a creative, driven individual with an interest in innovation, this is a great opportunity to take your technical skill set to the next level! Role is located in our chemical plant in Burnet, TX, producing deposition precursor materials for CVD/ALD semiconductor applications.

    In this role you will

    • Initiate, monitor, and troubleshoot synthesis and batch-purification processes from start to finish;
    • Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis;
    • Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product;
    • Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;
    • Pilot scale distillations, chemical operations and sampling;
    • Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal;
    • Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship;
    • Propose and implement process improvements;
    • Work safely and ensure the safety of co-workers, while striving for zero safety incidents.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Previous chemical handling experience;
    • Previous manufacturing experience; New Product Development/Scale-up experience a plus;
    • Associate’s degree in chemistry, process operations, or other technical field strongly preferred;
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
    • Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus;
    • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000;
    • Flexibility with ability to adapt to change;
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
    • Strong technical problem-solving capacity.
