    The Role

    The SAP Implementation Consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting MRP for purchasing, interplant shipments and production scheduling in SAP. Once MRP is implemented, this position will be responsible for implementing additional business processes globally.

    • Align Business Leadership with the organization's strategic vision by clarifying what, why and how implementing these systems, processes and procedures will contribute to Entegris business values;
    • Measure progress on implementation plans by providing metrics with regular reports showing progress against objectives;
    • Publish metrics which show that the systems, processes and procedures are being used correctly and consistently and linking the use of these processes and procedures to business benefits;
    • Lead / participate in regular review of implementation progress/issues at the local level and the corporate and division level. Engage the appropriate resources to resolve issues;
    • Participate in training and the development of training materials as well as working with the business to define global standards, policies and procedures;
    • This position manages resources for the purposes of implementing business processes indirectly across functions and divisions, leads company implementation and acquisition initiatives, develops and processes, policies and procedures. 

    This role can be based anywhere in the USA preferably close to a major airport.

    In this role you will


    • Fully implement and support MRP for purchasing, interplant shipments and production scheduling in SAP. Once MRP is implemented, this position will be responsible for implementing and supporting other business processes globally;
    • Develop implementation strategy with the business. Ensure no negative impact to service levels while implementing;
    • Establish implementation plan with milestones and metrics;
    • Establish a regular review sessions with the business, leadership and corporate levels to review progress against action plans;
    • Work with IT and the business to develop global policies and procedures;
    • Develop and maintain training documentation for the systems, processes and procedures as assigned;
    • Work with business, master data and IT to develop, define and characterize data, reporting and reporting frequency required to effectively manage and monitor the on-going metrics of the systems, processes and procedures implemented;
    • Coordinates with IT to design, test, review, and implement SAP configuration changes;
    • Coordinates integration/implementation testing;
    • Play a lead role in working with the business and IT to develop the business systems roadmap going forward.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Deep knowledge of SAP. Good communication, facilitation and teaching skills. Highly collaborative implementation partner with business resources and IT;
    • 5+ years’ experience working in an SAP in a production planning and/or purchasing implementation role;
    • SAP MM & SAP PP Certification – Required;
    • SAP Certified Application Associate – Procurement (ECC 6) – preferred;
    • Good Project Management skills;
    • Good organization skills.
    • Ability to successfully implement SAP’s MRP in purchasing, production planning and interplant shipments;
    • Ability to clearly teach and communicate complex concepts effectively at all levels of the organization;
    • Must be able to interpret data and perform math and statistical functions as it applies to the functions of the position;
    • Ability to work in/lead an implementation environment;
    • Ability to convert conflict into consensus;
    • Ability to travel; Road Warrior - Estimated travel up to 90%.
