    The Role

    Entegris is seeking a SG Manufacturing Engineer for the JangAn, South Korea location. The position is responsible for supporting Specialty Gas manufacturing engineering.

    In this role you will

    • Identify and develop processes for SG production;
    • Prioritize and resolve technical issues within manufacturing;
    • Work closely with customers to identify and resolve technical challenges with our services and products;
    • Work with R&D to transfer new products into high volume manufacturing as well as provide product sustaining support to existing products;
    • Ensure that manufacturing are ready to launch new products in accordance with Marketing requirements;
    • Participate in or design engineering drawing(P&ID), FMEA, risk assessment, process flow chart, PSSR and readiness review for new projects
    • Utilize continuous improvement tools and techniques (DOE, process mapping Kaizen);
    • Work in cross-functional teams and/or independently to solve technical problems related to manufacturing cycle time, cost, quality, and product yield;
    • Provide training and coaching at all levels of the organization;
    • Lead projects through completion with the highest regard for project management tools;
    • Coordinate ideas and involvement of team members into a cohesive/collaborated project;
    • Develop key operating performance criteria and SPC controls for manufacturing processes;
    • Write standard operating procedures, work instructions, safety reviews, JSA and MOC
    • Develop capital justifications for equipment and technology that either improves or aids in the growth of the business.
    • SAP utilization on routing, BoM, work centers for operational capacity review
    • camLine utilization on SPC analysis to control product and process

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Experience in semiconductor Gas industry for more than 5 years
    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred;
    • Experience in gas manufacturing in the semiconductor industry;
    • Experience on new factory building and product transition project is a plus;
    • Process engineering design;
    • Experience with working in an ERP (SAP) /ISO environment;
    • Knowledge of handling high pressure gas with toxicity and flammability;
    • Lean/Green Belt certification preferred
