    The Role

    We are looking for an experienced technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of custom built equipment used in production throughout the facility. 

    In this role you will

    • Keep production equipment operating at optimum level by supporting maintenance with advanced troubleshooting/repairs.
    • Provide electro/mechanical support on production equipment, first line automation support (programming, troubleshooting and repair). The position duties also includes updating currently released custom built equipment.
    • Provide support for PLC, HMI, servo and stepper drives, Faunc, Sepro and Star Robots and vision systems.
    • Design and build end of arm tooling, gate/sprue removal equipment, measuring equipment, small hand tools used during part manufacturing/assembly.
    • Design support for automated equipment/fixtures.
    • Provide equipment training to Supervisors, lead personnel, shift trainers, etc. as required.
    • Install automation equipment or projects.
    • Repair electric, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits as needed. Replace defective components to restore proper operation of equipment. Make modifications to equipment to achieve desired results. Demonstrate an understanding of the work order system.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Perform duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. 
    • Communicate potential hazards immediately to supervisor and identifies and corrects potential unsafe conditions.  
    • Panel building ability for upgrades and new equipment.

    • Ability to wire and/or troubleshoot control panels and electrical circuits using schematics.
    • Ability to plumb and or troubleshoot pneumatic circuits using schematics.
    • Requires high degree of mechanical aptitude and creative problem solving.
