    The Role

    The Manager / Senior Manager of Global Outsourcing Solutions organization is a key leadership position to lead the teams in Asia to drive for the execution and continuous improvement in enabling, engaging, and managing outsourced suppliers and contract manufacturers to meet business expectation.

    In this role you will

    • Ultimately responsible and accountable on the success of managing outsourced suppliers from contract manufacturing engagement evaluation, deliverables management and performance management.
    • Articulate overall organization goals and ensure team ownership and understanding in delivering to expectations.
    • Responsible in driving KPIs and metrics of all outsourced suppliers, monitor and ensure team to perform in meeting the targets.
    • Define, track and effectively communicate outsourced suppliers and contract manufacturers status, performance and issues to appropriate stakeholders.
    • Ensure strong team collaboration and partnership with key partner groups, including supplier quality team, division business units, logistics, commodity managers, etc. for efficient execution.
    • Develop in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, cost, supply chain and strong business sense in making strategic and tactical decisions.
    • Drive and improve outsourcing management process efficiency.
    • Assess and mitigate risks to ensure solid business continuity plan.
    • Apply market intelligence, sourcing strategies to influence outsourcing decisions.
    • Act as coach/mentor, manage performance, and aid in career development for individuals on team, support performance management, learning and development.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • 8+ years of leadership experience in supply chain management or project/program management or contract manufacturers management.
    • Knowledge in semiconductor, chemical, gas or filtration industries.
    • Bachelor or master degree in engineering or business management
    • Experience in driving team or executing to transformational changes in organization direction and expectations.
    • Strong track record of productive work relationship in navigating through resistance and problem.
    • Successful team performance management, coaching and development experience.
    • Experience in evaluating, engaging and qualifying contract manufactures.
    • Experience in commercial negotiation, costing, suppliers and vendors management.
    • Able to develop and maintain relationship within internal cross-functional teams across geographic, as well as suppliers' teams and management.
    • Excellent reporting and presentation skills to senior management
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong negotiation skills in dynamic environment
    • Resilience in dealing with unexpected issues
    • Able to formulate business strategies with big picture thinking

    Your success will be measured by

    • Demonstrated leadership capability in making strategic direction and effective tactical execution plan to ensure teams perform to KPIs and organizational goals.
    • Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability behaviors in leading team to drive and coordinate all functional teams to resolve suppliers’ deliverable issues, especially those directly impacting customers.
    • Effective communications with internal and external stakeholders in delivering expectations and clear visibility on contract manufacturers performance.
    • Provided directional coaching for team to maintain strategic partnership relation with suppliers in safe guarding Entegris business interest and supplier success.
