    The Role

    The Process Operator role is one of the critical functions within the manufacturing facility. At its core, the process operator will be responsible for the synthesis, purification, sampling, filling, and inspecting of a specific set of products. This role will be part of a team that strives to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while meeting the timeliness our customer’s desire.

    In this role you will

    The role will have 4 primary responsibilities:

    • Begin, monitor, and troubleshoot synthesis and batch-distillation processes from start-finish
    • Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis
    • Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product
    • Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards


    Other expectations include:

    • Work with multiple hazardous chemicals;
    • Be respirator certified;
    • Wear proper PPE as required;
    • Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs;
    • PLC/HMI process operation;
    • Pull samples using different glass and Teflon vials;
    • Use SAP to run production schedule, complete work orders, transact inventory, and print labels;
    • Connect canisters to fill manifold and fill with chemistry;
    • Utilize canister lift to move filled canisters off scale and to inspection area;
    • Inspect and bag finished good canisters using checklist and document all quality deficiencies;
    • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required;
    • Perform other activities at the request of department leadership to support production needs;



    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Previous chemical handling experience;
    • Demonstrated knowledge of operating PLCs and working with valves and pressure regulators;
    • Piping familiarity and ability to read P&ID’s;
    • Previous manufacturing experience; distillation experience is a plus;
    • Associate’s degree in chemistry, process operations, or other technical field;
    • Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus;
    • Working knowledge of ISO 9001;
    • Strong technical problem-solving capacity.
