    The Role

    This position represents a unique opportunity to join a high speed, collaborative HR team that provides the highest level of service to our employees.

    In this role you will

    • Process bi-weekly payroll including time records, retroactive adjustments, special pays, personal time off, short-term disability and deductions. Review and ensure accurate computation of pay and interpret company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.  Post and reconcile all payroll-related general ledger accounts. 
    • Process accurate entry of employee data impacting payroll processing (new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, and changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, etc.)
    • Administer the time and attendance system, including ongoing maintenance, making decisions regarding the system used, set up and best practices.
    • Perform calculations and submit payments for child support orders, garnishments, tax levies, wage assignments, etc.
    • Process regular tax reports and unemployment claims.
    • Perform year-end processing including the preparation and distribution of W-2's.
    • Serve as SAP Super User and IT liaison ensuring all system setups are compliant with legal and administrative requirements.

    • Ability to perform basic accounting functions and apply basic accounting procedures and principles
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
