    The Role

    The Vice President, Investor Relations is responsible for flow of financial and other information among the company, current and potential shareholders and other key stakeholders. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to our CFO. 


    This role can be located in either Chaska, Minnesota or at our Billerica, MA headquarters. 

    In this role you will

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for investor relations, addressing investor targeting, investor outreach activities including non-deal roadshows, analyst day events and management of the quarterly earning process. 
    • Analyze changing trends in purchase and sale of Entegris stock by both active and passive institutional investors.  Advise management on shareholder perceptions  and potential problem areas.  Advise management regarding the impact of company programs on shareholders and the financial community on a timely basis. 
    • Arrange regular and special meetings with investment analysts in major financial centers at which the CEO, CFO, and/or other top officers will appear.  Represents the Company in such meetings as appropriate and acts as the main contact for financial analysts.
    • Lead the preparation of communications to shareholders to best present the company’s strategies and plans to the market.  Functions as the primary day to day contact for the investment community and brings other members of senior management into the dialogue where appropriate.  Lead the preparation of manages the distribution of financial press releases and coordinates with corporate marketing on the handling general press. 
    • Conduct periodic visits to major financial centers in the U.S.to call on institutional investors and investment brokerage firms to provide accurate, factual and useful information about the Company.   Effectively develops relationships with key shareholders, targeted shareholders and the sell-side analyst community.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a technical field; advanced degree preferred.  Fifteen plus years of professional experience in technical marketing within a semiconductor related company, investor relations, or as a buy or sell-side securities analyst. 
    • Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain internal and external business relationships.  Strong understanding of financial reports, analytic methods, financial data tools.  Knowledge of semiconductor products, services, customers and markets as well as an understanding of the company’s business strategies.  Understanding of the investment community would be helpful, but not required.
    • Curiosity and a desire to learn.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% (likely more initially as you learn the role)

    Your success will be measured by

    • Quickly developing an understanding of the company’s “story” as well current and targeted investor base.  Using company knowledge and investor relationships to influence investors to make the time investment necessary to learn the Entegris story and ultimately invest in the company.   Develops a three to five year strategy for IR as well as annual tactical plan that in both cases have metrics of what success looks like.
    • Refining the company’s investor materials and constantly making the story more easily understood by the investment community.   Develops a collaborative relationship with the corporate marketing team and has the patience to teach them about the IR process.
