    The Role

    Our Manufacturing Engineer guarantees that our customers get exactly what they ordered in a semiconductor grade clean and safe electro-mechanical package. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, quality, and continuous improvement of our products and processes.  The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team environment where bright minds come together to collaborate, design and lead the charge to delight our customers.

    In this role you will

    • Drive a “Safety First” culture by performing equipment, process, and behavioral audits and recommending/implementing solutions to risks;
    • Drive the direction of the department in partnership with senior members of the team and leadership;
    • Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure materials can be sampled automatically and product containers can be filled while meeting/exceeding quality, productivity, and cost targets;
    • Design and implement enhancements to existing electromechanical chemical delivery systems, controls equipment/automation, and automated inspection systems in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments;
    • Develop/own strategies and lead projects to expand manufacturing capacity and yield as well as reduce cost of production line;
    • Tactically troubleshoot manufacturing issues hands-on as they arise from internal/external customer concerns and mentor at all levels to push learning to factory personnel.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • Bachelor or Masters of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 3 - 5 years process and/or design experience with electromechanical chemical delivery equipment;
    • A fundamental knowledge of chemistry (vapor pressure, material stability, material compatibility, etc.) and thermodynamics (mass flow, etc.);
    • Demonstrated leadership ability to create a positive environment in all situations, build mentor/mentee relationships at all levels of the department, and maintain productive relationships across departmental lines;
    • Experience with designing, sourcing, and providing technical support for standardized, rapidly-deployable manufacturing processes and equipment to support semiconductor-grade chemical packaging;
    • Familiarity with manufacturing controls equipment and automation methods;
    • Experience that demonstrates an affinity to review existing designs/processes and consistently drive for improved results (yield/cost/capability) through innovative problem solutions.
