    The Role

    This project manager will be a participating member of a Project Management Office within the Micro-contamination Control Division of Entegris, Inc. responsible to lead new product development teams in the release of leading-edge Semiconductor filtration products.  This position results from continuous successful organic business growth and involves interaction with multiple business functions.

    In this role you will

    The Project Manager assures the success of assigned projects by achieving on-time completion, meeting budgetary requirements, and assuring product performance and quality. He or she makes recommendations for continuous improvement of project management best practices and business processes supporting new product development. Basic responsibilities include:

    • Assures successful completion of assigned projects by constant direct management and oversight from beginning to end.
    • May provide oversight and reporting on any project in the MC portfolio.
    • Contributes to the continuous improvement of business processes related to program management and new product development.
    • Takes care that resources are appropriate and sufficient to meet project or program goals. Develops thorough, realistic plans that support organizational objectives, based on a thorough understanding of what needs to be done. Effectively allocates resources and time. 
    • Analyzes project trade-offs and requests changes in scope, schedule and resources when needed. 
    • Uses metrics to monitor financial elements of project and manages project financial expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
    • Communicates effectively to management as required to provide a clear understanding of project status, risks, and decisions.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • 4-year BS degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline
    • Understands and displays sound task-dependent management skills such as effective decision-making, team development, good communication skills, provision of vision and direction, and issue and conflict resolution.
    • Diligence and thoroughness of approach
    • Displays confidence to team and makes commitments to achieve goals.
    • Ability to build a detailed plan to support the higher level project objectives
    • Follow-through; Demonstrates a “lead by doing” attitude
    • Organizational savvy – able to build and develop interpersonal relationships at all levels and functions within the organization
    • Technical knowledge and understanding; ability to learn new technology
    • Strong communication skills cross the organization and ability to develop and implement a project specific communication plan.
    • PMP certification is not required but is a plus
