The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Process Technician to work in an environment that can be fast-paced, high-energy, and professionally rewarding while also friendly and team-oriented. The position is responsible for safely operating ALD coatings equipment to achieve a multitude of material coatings.  This position supports manufacturing of new and/or existing product and process lines. The position will report directly to the Manufacturing supervisor. 


Primary responsibilities include:


  • Complete coatings operations to meet required throughput for customer demand.
  • Operate and maintain process equipment reactors, pumps, samples and analytical equipment.
  • Championing continuous improvement for those processes and driving improvements to implementation

In this role you will

  • Monitors product and processes and takes required actions as necessary to meet established specifications and adherence to the Entegris quality system, ISO and/or other standards.
  • Assists in training other manufacturing personnel in the operation of new and existing equipment and processes. 
  • Write / Revise Standard Operating Procedures, Product Descriptions, Test Specifications, and Process Records. Participates in generation and validation of documentation for products.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area. Performs preventative safety tasks and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately. 
  • Investigate product or process failures and abnormalities, determine root cause, build corrective action plan and drive that plan to completion

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional college or technical coursework; or Education in PECVD / CVD processing or equivalent on the job training preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Coatings experience and safely working with hazardous materials preferred.
  • Vacuum systems experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of coatings equipment / processes.
  • Proven mechanical capability to support manufacturing equipment.
  • Work with project team to install and start up new equipment as needed
  • Able perform various production activities in SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) and clean room gowning.

  • Meeting aggressive production schedules for this product and exhibiting accountability to ensure that production runs smoothly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, safety, and operating procedures.
