The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join its Gas Operations production team in Danbury, CT.  This person would work as a key member of the specialty gas production team as a fill operator on both high and low volume product lines.  The person in this role would take direction from a team lead and report directly to the production supervisor.  Danbury Specialty Gas Operations is a dynamic and often fast paced environment where safety is absolutely paramount.  This candidate would be someone who enjoys being part of a strong cohesive team, is dedicated to continuous improvement, and has experience safely working with hazardous materials or gases, while maintaining a focus on meeting production goals and exceeding customer expectations.


Primary responsibilities include:


  • Support the Specialty Gas Operations team in gas product filling to meet production demands.
  • Operate and maintain process equipment including manifolds, fill stations, and analytical equipment.
  • Perform routine SCBA activities.

In this role you will

  • Train and become proficient in safely operating multiple filling/analytical stations, supporting multiple product families and implant gas species.
  • Support the local business unit to meet and exceed customer demand for multiple product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Quality and R&D.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • Ability to Safely perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, specifically cylinder filling, gas analysis, and QC testing of finished products, as well as additional responsibilities relating to cylinder assembly and inspection.
  • Having knowledge of gas manifolds and high vacuum systems a plus.
  • Ability to accurately track process data associated with production and effectively input to multiple software platforms.
  • Ability to track and maintain raw material inventories.
  • Possess strong computer skills, Microsoft office, SAP
  • Able to perform various production activities in SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).
