Reporting to Chaska the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist, the Safety Ambassador Coach Intern is a key member of the team to learn the process as we implement our Safety Enhancement Program. The goal of the Safety Enhancement program is to get employees more involved in early identification and control of hazards in the workplace. The structure of the program hinges on the effectiveness of the area Safety Ambassadors. With guidance from the EHS Specialist, the intern will facilitate the development of, and learn along with the Safety Ambassadors. The Intern and Safety Ambassadors will receive additional training on safety topics, learn how to prepare and deliver different safety communications, and support efforts to increase employee engagement.
