The Role

  • Ensure all the tasks in the Production area are being able to execute as per plan, and manage the workforce towards meeting the production goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for full compliance by the shop floor employees on company policies pertaining to Work procedures, Quality, Legal and Safety requirements.
  • Managing the workforce performance.

In this role you will

  • Reviews production orders to ascertain the delivery commitments. Work hand-in-hand with Planner and support team members to establish work priorities.
  • Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet the required specifications.
  • Review production reports and resolve operational issues to keep the cost minimum and to prevent any potential delays.
  • Develop and revise work methods to comply with WI standard.
  • Identify and resolve employee behavioral related issues.

  • Proactively review and manage the production resources without interrupting the operational goals.
  • Escalate production issues to the support team members as and when required to 
  • trigger for attention and counter-measure (Escalation Plan)
  • Conduct employee performance review
  • Establishes and promotes the maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions. Recommends measures to reduce or eliminate industrial accident and health hazards in compliance with OSHA standards. Establishes and ensures compliance to department safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • Degree or Diploma in Management or any other equivalent field.
  • Minimum 3 years in similar capacity and also 3 years of working experiences on plastic injection molding
  • Basic knowledge on quality management system and plastic injection molding
  • Good understanding of team dynamic
  • Handling behavioral issues
  • Product and manufacturing process knowledge
  • Problem solving methodology
  • Operating knowledge on SAP system will be an added advantage
