The Role

Operates, constructs, and maintains high-temperature furnaces. Provides a consistent level of performance supportive to the organizational requirements, goals and PACE values.  Addresses operational issues pertaining to the process and willing to acquire the education, knowledge or skills to enhance their performance. Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and applicable confidentially agreements. 

In this role you will

This position provides general production support to the business unit with emphasis on construction, operation, and maintenance of high-temperature furnaces. This is an operational position focused on the achievement of all organizational requirements, policies, and goals.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Ability to do basic arithmetic
  • Follow written, verbal, and visual instructions
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, 8-12 hr. shifts, weekends, and nights
  • Able to frequently climb stairs, ladders, and stand or sit for long periods
  • Safely lift 50-75 lbs. multiple times periodically in a 12 hr. shift
  • Desirable to have knowledge of the operation of computers
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred
  • Operation of motorized material handling equipment including forklifts
  • Use of power tools in an industrial environment
  • Use of non-powered tools including shovels, hammers, screwdrivers, and tape measure
  • Basic carpentry, fabrication and masonry skills a plus
