    The Role

    The Production Team Lead position is responsible for leading a team of 2nd shift employees for the Plastic Injection Molding department at Entegris. The lead will also perform other tasks to support management and achieve production goals.

    In this role you will

    • Conduct daily pre-shift huddles, assign work tasks to team members with a high emphasis on product quality and ensures employees are following standard work procedures in the most safe and efficient manner.

    • Schedule and coordinate work flow, provide employee guidance, delegate work as necessary and provide input on employee performance to the management team.

    • Direct production for manufacturing jobs that yield on time delivery for customers. Monitor dispatch reports to ensure production dates are being met on a consistent basis; monitor WIP volumes for acceptable levels and coordinates employee breaks based in production needs.

    • Ensure employee development training/cross training is provided with documentation for effective performance.   

    • Investigate and evaluate quality defects and determine appropriate actions to be taken. Assists in writing document changes and manufacturing/part/work instructions.


    Traits we believe make a strong candidate

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
    • 3+ years of production/manufacturing experience; plastic injection molding experience preferred
    • Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures
    • High Interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to influence and lead others
    • Good attention to detail; ability to perform math computations and computer data entry
    • Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally, climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift
