The Role

Job Overview:

Entegris is seeking a Technologist reporting to the Manager of Business Development, Liquid Filtration. This role serve as advisor of Photo BULK/Wet BULK/CMP BULK and Non-semi market filter products / application support and market development to Korea sales team as well as introducing new products and advanced technology to educate sales team and customers to position Entegris as a technology leader in this field. The position will be located at Suwon office, Korea.

In this role you will

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Visit customers with the Account Manager on major projects, topics that require a stronger technical approach and crisis resolution to facilitate Sales’ role;
  • Work closely with key customers to identify and understand their key process, products/solution needs and the technical trends;
  • Assist region sales people in building and maintaining relationship with key decision makers;
  • Be technical advisor to the selling operation on market/product issues, coordination of related technical projects;
  • Identify training needs within the selling operation and implement action either personally or via the corporate training group;
  • Digest industry’s vocabulary and train organization;
  • Act as a point of reference for product attributes and performance, product availability for a specific application or retrofit and long lists of competitive products to dislodge (through audits/tenders or lists provided by engineers/purchasers);
  • Take the lead in resolving/application issues in Japan area, manage product change notices and technical advisor within the Region, as directed by the BU;
  • Work with product management to implement new product introductions and product obsolescence;
  • Working with product management will assist in identifying the right products for the right applications;
  • Provide input to Product Development Process (e-PDP); Analyze and updates competitive threats.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

Successful candidates will typically have the following skill set:

 

  • Experience working in related technical area or academic equivalent;
  • Knowledge of liquid filtration, membrane materials, and chemical manufacturing processes encouraged;
  • Exposure to sales, marketing and/or applications in the semiconductor industry;
  • Ability to work on problems that are complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations;
  • Experience having served as a primary interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Field Sales and Marketing;
  • Skilled at training and presenting to field service and sales groups;
  • Ability to work across multiple functions and communication across geographies;
  • Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks;
  • Ability to demonstrate a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present technical presentations.
  • Able to work under limited supervision, and complete assignments without established procedures;
