The Role

Entegris is seeking a dynamic, self-starter, with statistical expertise to join a growing group of industrial statistical personnel to impact continuous improvement activities, serve as an internal statistical resource to researchers/engineers, improve manufacturing processes and contribute to new product introduction. 

In this role you will

Serve as a statistical resource to a manufacturing/research facility requires a mastery of basic to advanced statistical and Quality techniques, the ability to be an engaging teacher to run a sustained statistical training program, have a collaborative nature to provide internal consulting support for Six Sigma tools, Data Mining, Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control, be a clear communicator of ideas in both written and oral forms, provide coaching for Six Sigma continuous improvement projects and have the insight to recognize the statistical nature of variation in a problem to develop new and creative practical solutions to such improvement opportunities.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • Master’s degree in Statistics or the equivalent is preferred, however Black Belts, Master Black Belts or Engineers with sufficient Statistical/Quality experience can be considered.
  • At least five years, but 10 years or more is preferred, of industrial experience (Semiconductor experience is a plus) using statistical methods, leading or coaching Six Sigma continuous improvement projects, and implementing process controls or Quality techniques.
  • Applications of statistical methods require the candidate to have solid knowledge of and facility with Minitab, JMP or another major statistical package along with MS Office skills.
