The Role

The Manufacturing Operator position is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly, product testing, and soldering per approved procedures.

In this role you will

  • Perform various electrical and mechanical operations on the product in accordance with the work orders and Manufacturing instructions & SOP'S.
  • Verify product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Escalates quality issues as appropriate. 
  • Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports, Hour-by Hour, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.). 
  • Complete documentation and dispose of rejected and or excess material on a daily basis


Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in electronic /mechanical assembly and hand soldering. 
  • Previous experience in lean manufacturing environment and/or ISO environment helpful. 


Your success will be measured by

  • Ensures all product is packaged per packaging specifications and routings are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Perform duties in a safe manner and observe approved safety procedures at all times
  • Focus on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participate actively in continuous improvement activities, such as 6S, Kaizen events, yellow belt training and projects.
