The Role

Entegris is seeking a Account sales manager, Samsung to join our growing team. 


This strategic sales leadership position will have tremendous visibility within the company leading the regional efforts to solve our customer’s most challenging problems.  This role provides the technical selling energy for new products providing leadership for launches, commercialization efforts and for technical support of process solutions in Korea.


The position will be based out of our Suwon office in Korea.

In this role you will

  • Responsible for creating plans and actions to drive revenue and market share growth for corporate Samsung business in Korea;
  • Work as a account team member to identify, develop, and prioritize the opportunities using value selling process to lead the Discovering, Advocating, and Supporting phases of the selling process;
  • Work closely with account manager to ensure evaluations lead to business closure;
  • Own customer evaluations to ensure sharp execution and that the benefits of the results are aligned with customers task (buying) motives and presented in a professionally manner.  Ensure and provide the right level of technical and application support during customer qualifications;
  • Lead and collaborate with a wide variety of functional groups including Product Marketing, Field Application Engineering, and R&D to accomplish new product penetration into customers for process solutions;
  • Work with Product Marketing, R&D, and Engineering to promote and execute CIPs to enhance values and process efficiencies at customer sites;
  • Participate in the Most Valuable Opportunities (MVO) and responsible for achieve promotion goal;
  • Conduct regular reviews with customers to understand their needs and work with account managers to devise account penetration management plan;
  • Train customers and fellow colleagues on relevant process solutions knowledge and skills.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

Successful candidates will typically have the following skill set:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.  Master’s degree is a plus;

  • Solid knowledge in surface preparation, post etch clean, Cu plating, CMP, and Post CMP clean related to Cu dual-damascene and Deposition;

  • Experience as a sales or a project manager.
