Overview

Entegris is seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual to join our Manufacturing Engineering Team in JangAn, Korea. The successful candidate will be willing to take on challenges and propose innovative solutions while working as part of a cross-functional team or independently to solve technical problems related to manufacturing cycle time, cost, quality, and product yield.

  • Manufacturing equipment and fixture conceptualization and repair;
  • Experience with equipment and fixture design, purchasing, installation, qualification
  • Experience with equipment troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience with PLC programming
  • Experience with small electrical circuit operation and repair
  • Experience with film/bag machines preferred
  • Sustain existing processes including; solving technical problems, manufacturing cycle time, cost, quality, and yield;
  • Experience with high volume manufacturing
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Experience with molding preferred
  • Experience with plastics preferred
  • Sustain existing customer processes including; solving technical problems with inflation systems, empty detect;
  • Experience working with customers preferred
  • Experience with best practice problem solving methods
  • Qualify new suppliers, ie; machined, extruded, injected parts, blown film;

 

  • Data analysis and writing qualification reports which include purpose, methods, results, and conclusion
  • Work with product engineering team to transfer new products into manufacturing;
  • Understanding of accepted methods for prototypes or pilot production
  • Understanding of accepted methods for high volume manufacturing including

 

 

 

 

 

  • Ability to gather and monitor operations metrics; scrap, productivity, downtime
  • Work in cross-functional teams and/or independently
  • Approximately 10% travel;

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree; Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, , Material Science, Industrial);
  • Minimum 3 years experience;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing /Maintenance processes,
  • Industry experience related to fabricated products;
  • Computer skills to include such programs as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project desired;
  • Working knowledge of CAD / Solidworks is a plus.
