The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Master Scheduler to oversee all aspects of Supply Planning and the utilization of forecasted information. The Master Scheduler works cross-functionally throughout the organization both within the Operations and Supply Chain teams and with other key functions, like Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Central Planning, Global Logistics, etc.  The position reports to the Materials Manager, at the Danbury, CT manufacturing facility.

In this role you will

  • Perform planning and scheduling for master planned items for Danbury and Korea manufacturing locations;
  • Support the Sales and Operations Planning process by analyzing the site capacities and developing production plans through rough cut capacity analysis;
  • Analyze forecasts and determine production capabilities to meet demand using long range capacity models, and identifying bottlenecks in the manufacturing of finished goods supply;
  • Serve as liaison between Site Planning, Central Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing and Customer Service departments to maintain proper supply schedules from the factory and coordinate efficient Manufacturing delivery, ensuring timely processing of orders;
  • Lead cross-functional teams for Continuous Improvement Process initiatives;
  • Ensure system planning parameters are maintained for accurate MRP and MPS signals;
  • Coach and lead planners to monitor planning metrics;
  • Develop relevant performance metrics and prepare detailed weekly and month-end reports;
  • Develop and revise relevant SOP´s, Work Instructions and Process Maps as required;
  • Work with all involved departments and external customers to exceed company, departmental, supply chain goals and objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve OTS issues across the sites.
  • Evaluate demand and determine the appropriate requirements and safety stock levels to support manufacturing processes.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate


  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of planning and scheduling experience, preferably working in a cross-functional environment;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred;
  • Demonstrated success managing a supply management process;
  • Strong analytical and organization skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Ability to complete work projects with speed and accuracy, often under pressure and/or short deadlines.
  • Experience working on the supply side of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process;
  • Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment and knowledgeable in Lean principles and methodologies;
  • Practical experience in transactional Six Sigma tools;
  • Experience working in a Class A Planning & Control environment;
  • Knowledge and experience in MRP and/or ERP systems inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning modules;
  • A global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization;
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and data analysis tools;
  • APICS certification preferred (CPIM or CIRM);
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP a plus;
  • Possess excellent decision-making and a drive for results;
  • Must be adept at working in a metric driven organization;
  • Experience with coaching and developing transactional individuals;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships across organizations;
