Entegris is seeking a Sr. Director, Production Planning, Master Scheduling and MRP a Global role located at our Billerica, MA facility.

This role contributes to Entegris’ success by leading the execution and delivery of best practice Production Planning, Scheduling and MRP processes interfacing with cross functional and regional teams in the development of strategy, new business processes and supporting functionality.  Consults with business and functional areas to ensure consistent methodologies and approaches are leveraged. Leads program deployment including program management, business readiness, change management, training, and communication.  Accountable for successful implementation of new business processes and end-user adoption and sustainability.


The Sr. Director of Production Planning, Master Scheduling and MRP develops and implements the business processes and functionality supporting the company's production control functions including any of the following activities: master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting.   Develop report requirements to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures.  Establish with cross functional teams a standard set of business process metrics demonstrating performance.


The Sr. Director of Production Planning, Master Scheduling and MRP will demonstrate excellent knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning MPS/PP modules, planning and scheduling business processes to directly support users and corporate processes.  In a corporate role as the liaison to Divisional Operations Leaders, they will evaluate gaps in functionality and or processes, gather requirements of users and present recommendations to both technical and business teams. Candidates should have an excellent grasp of industry and subject matter best practices, trends, and concepts, and have the ability to apply these concepts into the ERP environment and business process. Strong collaboration and leadership skills, especially in the handling of Organization Change Management are desired.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT or equivalent experience;
  • Proficiency with MRP/MPS, including MTO, MTS, Forecasting, Reorder Point Planning, KANBAN, Dynamic Safety Stock, knowledge of reporting capabilities;
  • Experience with a complex enterprise-wide planning system i.e. SAP (preferred) or Oracle.
  • Business experience with an International manufacturing planning/scheduling and/or supply chain management function overseeing Master Scheduling for Multiple plants;
  • Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements;
  • Excellent knowledge of business processes and best practices, demonstrated ability to define and sustain new standards and business processes;
  • Ability to explain and champion technical concepts to a broad audience;
  • Travel to domestic and global sites up to 30%.
