Overview

Provide leadership to the organization. . Overall responsibility over organization’s training & development and recruitment

Responsibilities

Training and Development

  • Design training courses and programs necessary to meet the Organization's mission and objectives.
  • Assess relevant training needs for staff and the Organization, in consultation with department heads including assessment methods and measurement system.
  • Provide leadership, strategic direction, expertise and implementation of the Organization's processes, systems and training programs.
  • Implement Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and integrate results with plant-wide training strategies.
  • Plan and project training budget required to run and implement learning and development strategies for the year
  • Consult internal customers and provide support in sourcing, evaluating and recommending training
  • Ensure company comply to EQOS and EICC requirements
  • Manage and maintain Learning Management System for Kulim plant (LMS)

 

Staffing

  • Ensures all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time and budget
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; online job sites
  • Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules with hiring manager (HM); arrange conference calls or travel schedules for face to face interview (for remote hiring managers, if necessary); escorting applicant to interviews
  • Manage and maintain recruitment process using online software, iCIMS; work with Global Talent Acquisition team

 

Supervision and training

  • Supervise HR Associate
  • Provide training and development to HR Associate

  • Ability to facilitate training program
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
