The Role

To provide daily supervision of employees in the Scheduling, Planning, and Material Issue areas including; setting employee work schedules, overseeing creation and maintenance of the manufacturing schedules, managing planning processes, managing material inventories and material issuance, and otherwise supporting the company’s manufacturing departments as needed.

In this role you will

  • Assign work and monitor performance within the Scheduling, Planning, and Material Issue groups.
  • Oversee the creation/maintenance of the daily manufacturing schedule for the operations group.
  • Oversee the preparation of Work Instruction Planning and the flow of the Job Packet creation.
  • Oversee the material issue group and reclamation inventory.
  • Build schedules for key customer orders as needed.
  • Confer with leaders of other departments to ensure the manufacturing schedule is effective.
  • Directly lead special projects or initiatives at times.
  • Prepare reports and tracking tools as needed to monitor/communicate performance.
  • Hire/train/supervise both exempt and non-exempt personnel.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

Must have:

  • College degree with four years experience in related field or a minimum of 4 years experience in a related field
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Strong computer skills with experience using ERP software
  • Good listening, written, and oral communication skills


Should have:                                                                                                               

  • Leadership Experience
  • Aggressive nature to solve issues
  • Knowledge of POCO Manufacturing processes
  • Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 environment
  • Project Management Experience
