Overview

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Application Engineer for SPI business, especially WET cleaning chemical, such as cleaner, stripper, post etch residue removal and etch. Main role will be customer support and experimental work at formulation lab. The person for this job should familiar with semiconductor business/process and wet cleaning chemical.

 

Responsibilities

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Technical communication skill with customer and internal R&D team
  2. Coordinate interactions with cross-functional teams such as Analytical, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales
  3. Project manage the schedules of multiple parallel projects in order to provide customers timely information
  4. Plans and conducts a variety of complex technical projects under very general directions. Performs work independently with instructions as to the general results expected
  5. Adhere to all safety rules.
  6. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary
  7. Ability to travel up to 30%DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

  1. Collaborate with R&D and Sales to introduce the products into customer applications.
  2. Customer support, such as technical meeting/presentation and on-site demo
  3. Participate in technical and business strategy development.
  4. Present work at scientific meetings and trade shows.

 

Qualifications

 

QULIFICATION:

Education:

BD (>7 + yrs) or MD ( >5+ yrs) experience required

Experience:

Semiconductor engineer or researcher for Wet cleaning/etch preferred

Preferred

Chemist/Chemical Engineer

Skills/Competencies:

·         Well understanding semiconductor process and device

·         A familiarity with wet chemistry, such as cleaner, stripper, post etch removal and etch

·         The ability of technical presentation

·         The ability to communicate in English

·         The ability to develop innovative approaches to solving complex problems

·         The ability to identify industry trends in order to invent and develop novel and patentable chemistry and/or processes

·         The ability to effectively analyze the results of experiments.
