Overview

The Field Service Engineer will assist with liquid and gas equipment installation, troubleshooting, liquid/gas canister changes and facilitate prompt return of empty cylinders and canisters. Training will be provided to help the candidate increase competency and progress in the company. The successful candidate will provide professional quality of work and support to Entegris Customers.  

Responsibilities

  • Installs new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
  • Maintains records of performance reports.
  • Assists in the development of service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations, engineering changes, and overall knowledge of product.
  • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, engineering change upgrades, etc. of all Entegris equipment.
  • Attend all personal and technical training to maintain a professional level of engineering expertise.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Education/Experience:

 

  • Two year technical school degree in engineering, science or chemistry field required and a four year College Degree a positive.
  • 3+ Experience in field support/service of similar experience with a capital equipment company required. CVD/CMP/WET module EE&PE experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer interacting skills

  • Customer service – Ensure customer satisfaction with installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, engineering change upgrades, etc. of all Entegris equipment
  • Personal – Self driven individual who is interested in continuous improvement and learning the semiconductor industry.
  • Travelling is necessary within Japan and Overseas
  • Able to communicate with English will be an advantage
