Overview

Entegris is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This person will be the engineering product owner for multiple products manufactured at contract manufactures in China.

 

The ideal candidate has a drive to learn new skills and find ways to continuously improve the performance of manufacturing systems. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with both suppliers and customers to achieve success.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a “Safety First” culture by performing equipment, process, and behavioral inspections and implementing solutions to risks;
  • Contribute to the direction of the department in partnership with other senior members of the staff and management;
  • Lead projects to expand manufacturing capacity, transition products to high volume manufacturing, or implement continuous improvements to existing products;
  • Identify and implement product/process improvement opportunities utilizing DFM, Six Sigma, LEAN, and Value Engineering practices;
  • Lead improvements to supply and manufacturing processes through establishment of key efficiency reporting metrics;
  • Develop a standardized work cell visual management program and reporting processes
  • Manage diverse improvement projects across multiple locations ( domestic and international);
  • Update, standardize, and consolidate documentation of processes including clear and accurate work instructions for manufacturing operators on process operations.
  • Respond to customer concerns in a professional and technically competent manner to gain trust and confidence in our engineering strength and understanding of our product performance and control;
  • Hands on troubleshooting of tactical issues with the manufacturing of our products and mentoring at all levels to push learning to factory personnel;

Qualifications

 

  • S. or higher in Chemical Engineering is preferred but related technical field will be considered with applicable experience;
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering in high purity chemical, gas or semiconductor manufacturing;
  • Experience with ISO quality standards for product/process control is a must;
  • Experience with mechanical & process design of equipment for chemical manufacturing is a plus;
  • Demonstrated leadership ability;
  • Capability of working independently;
  • Skills to influence cross functionally on a global level;
  • Excellent English verbal and written communications skills;
  • Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization;
  • Ability to produce results when facing deadlines or commitments.
