Overview

The role of the Asia Field Marketing Director is to lead the field go-to-market and brand awareness efforts for Entegris throughout the APJ sales region. Responsible for creating and executing the regional marketing plan designed to support APJ sales growth and corporate/product brand initiatives. Responsibilities include events, local communications strategy, content and program localization, and other customer facing activities.  This person will evaluate and adjust strategy responding to changing and/or competitive markets.  Key to the success of this individual will be a tight alignment with regional sales leadership and global marketing team to align go-to-market plans with key objectives, messaging, and campaigns, and developing and mentoring a high-performance regional marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key collaborative member of the APJ Leadership team and ensure needs of the Geo are well articulated and represented with global marketing team, while being a solid representative of global marketing team in APJ to ensure key Corp initiatives are executed
  • Create a highly impactful viral marketing organization driven by social and other digital marketing tactics for Entegris
  • Work with the global marketing team and sale management to build a strong marketing plan across each identified region, in order to support the planned business growth
  • Create KPI’s for targeted functional areas and deploy consistent measurement of KPIs across the region
  • Collaborate with senior sales and marketing management to development market analysis and recommendations for product prioritization, localization needs, marketing program investments, and third-party validation.
  • Build Entegris brand awareness and preference while maintaining consistency with corporate/product brand guidelines.
  • Drive PR initiatives across utilizing global content and developing local content.
  • Develop, lead, and mentor a team of high-performing individual contributors to consistently deliver on key priorities.

Qualifications

 

Job Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years’ experience in field marketing across APJ with particular focus in China, Taiwan, Korea, & Japan (ASEAN a bonus) –in B2B technology markets as well as at least 5 years in a people manager role
  • A strong marketing leader that is able to be hands on in a coach / player role with proven track record of building a strong marketing team
  • Results-driven with ability to analyze data to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
  • Must have budget management experience
  • Demonstrated results in working for U.S. headquartered organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Must be fluent in English and Chinese
  • Flexible to travel at least 35%
