Overview

Entegris Life Sciences is seeking a detailed oriented Applications Specialist who will support and play a critical role in growing our emerging Aramus single use bioprocess products, based in our Bloomington, MN facility.

 

The Specialist is a key contact for customers with product customization requests, drawing approvals, technical questions, quotes, quality and regulatory document requests, change control notifications, sample requests, technical support requests, and other customer interaction related to the quoting, sales and support process. 

 

This individual will also work closely with Entegris colleagues, including Business Development, Marketing, Applications Engineers, Product Managers, Sales Account Managers, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers, and Customer Support to ensure Entegris fully supports existing and perspective customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for existing and prospective customers;
  • Work closely with key customers to identify and understand their product requirements, in particular relating to customization of the products you support;
  • Create and maintain all documentation related to the customer specification, samples request, quote submittal and approval, drawing approval, support request, and change notification processes;
  • Assist regional sales team in building and maintaining relationships with key customers;
  • Act as the regional source of product support knowledge;
  • Serve as the advisor to the selling operation on quoting, customer documentation requirements, customer complaints and change control;
  • Support training within the selling operation related to the quoting, complaints and change control and implement training actions either personally or via the corporate training group;
  • Support Applications Engineers with product Alpha and Beta evaluation, and ongoing customer centric evaluation support;
  • Communicate product technical advisories as directed by the business unit;
  • Take ownership for securing the assistance of other functions outside of Sales (e.g. Engineering, Quality) to resolve customer issues;
  • Ability to travel periodically, up to 10%.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the various areas of applications and customer support;
  • Direct knowledge of single use system used in bioprocessing, including the manufacturing and storage of biopharmaceuticals;
  • Knowledge of life sciences/single use regulatory requirements such as USP Class VI, cGMP, FDA and ISO is preferred;
  • Excellent communications skills, as well as the ability to give guidance and recommendations to end-users;
  • Strong skills in change management, problem solving, customer orientation, product technology, team skills and quality.
