The Role

Entegris is seeking a Business Development Gas Process Technologist (GPT) for the Micro-contamination Division to grow our GMC and AMC business unit revenue.  This is a customer facing technical position focused on gas filtration and purification and airborne molecular contamination (AMC) solutions for semiconductor and FPD manufacturers. The GPT position is the technical “face of Entegris” to the customer. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree combined with knowledge and experience in gas filtration and purification and/or airborne molecular contamination areas.

The Gas Micro Contamination (GMC) and Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC) Business Units have research and development, applications, analytical labs and manufacturing facilities in the Taiwan, Korea, Japan and US regions that support customers around the globe.


In this role you will

  • Visit customers with sales team as the technical expert and resource for Gas Filtration, Gas Purification, and Airborne Molecular Control (AMC) product solutions.
  • Support sales team with product presentations and customer technical discussions.
  • Assist sales team to identify and prioritize GMC and AMC opportunities; Manage and take ownership of target opportunities and customer engagements.
  • Serve as technical advisor to the selling organization for market pricing; competitive product information; reference for product attributes and performance; product recommendations for specific applications. Ensure sales organization is trained on new products.
  • Create engagement plans and strategy to drive revenue and market share growth for Entegris’ GMC and AMC solutions to the target customers.
  • Drive, participate and advise technical oriented customer roadmap discussions.



Traits we believe make a strong candidate


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical field.
  • Process and/or equipment engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment OEM, or engineering firm.  
  • Knowledge of all processes related to semiconductor manufacturing; or knowledge and experience in contamination control; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job.
  • Ability to work independently; excellent communication, planning, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record delivering results.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; Ability to meet challenging timelines and work in a constantly changing environment.
