Entegris is seeking a talented Production Manager to lead its container refurbishment operations.  This position is located in our chemical manufacturing facility in the beautiful hill country town of Burnet, Texas.


In this role, you will drive accountability in quality and customer responsiveness while embracing a culture focused on safety, reliability and continual improvement. Your passion to develop strong teams and build relationships across Entegris’ global organization will be paramount.  As an integral member of the leadership team, you will report to the Director, Manufacturing Operations.


  • Develops manufacturing performance objectives, utilizes key performance metrics to measure operational performance to these objectives, and develops and implements activities to improve performance;
  • Leads a diverse team of technicians to optimize performance while coaching and developing individuals within the team;
  • Establishes work schedules to meet production expectations by interfacing with master scheduling and customer service;
  • Develops, modifies and implements processes and procedures in conjunction with the EH&S and quality teams to drive a culture focused safety and quality;
  • Provides direction and prioritization to cross-functional support personnel regarding planning, scheduling, quality control, inventory control, manufacturing engineering and distribution/shipping;
  • Reviews capacity plans as needed and develop capital and resource plans to meet business needs;
  • Leads and/or participates in cross-functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain) to resolve customer issues and implement improvement projects;
  • Creates and leads an empowered workforce that is focused on continuous improvement and achieves performance through sustainable productivity improvements;
  • Creates an environment that embraces change and understands the risks of ambiguity while exercising operational discipline;
  • Embraces and supports change management and new product introduction procedures to ensure manufacturing equipment, processes and personnel are prepared to launch new products;
  • Ensures production equipment is maintained and utilized in accordance with engineering procedures and standards


Successful candidates will typically have the following skill set:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study or equivalent work experience;
  • 5+ years manufacturing, supply chain or operations experience preferred with continuously increasing responsibility;
  • 3+ years of leadership experience preferred;
  • Chemical, gas or semiconductor experience strongly preferred;
  • Understanding of technical drawings;
  • Experience with new product introduction and site-to-site product transitions;
  • Proven experience leading cross functional teams to achieve business objectives;
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/14000, OSHA 18000 environments;
  • Lean, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Six Sigma training highly desirable;
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP experience is a plus);
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and wear PPE as necessary.
