Overview

We are searching for a bright, innovative thinker with the right experience and attitude to help us deliver on our mission to become a best-in-class internal communications function. The Internal Communications Director will play an instrumental role in delivering on both local and global communications initiatives across our 4,000 employees in 10 countries. A key element of this role will be to support executive communications and work across multiple Divisions and disciplines to provide communications expertise and drive employee engagement at every level. At a time when change is constant and expert messaging more important than ever, you will help carry out a seamless and coherent plan that will enable Entegris to achieve both its business priorities and PACE culture objectives. 

To accomplish this, you will need to demonstrate an excellent level of writing ability and a healthy dose of creativity, as well as the ability to manage detailed projects. Solid expertise in the multidisciplinary communications will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Strategy Support & Implementation:

 

  • Develop, evangelize, and execute the Internal Communication’s strategy and execution plan
  • Support a cadence of regular internal communications so that colleagues are inspired, engaged, and have the information they need to focus on what matters most to Entegris
  • Leverage both traditional and innovative new channels to deliver messages in an authentic, effective way
  • Ensure internal communication programs have global reach and geographic cultural considerations
  • Create a steady stream of content across multiple channels to help employees understand what is happening within their Division/Region as well as the broader Entegris organization
  • Collaborate with Global HR, Brand and Creative Services, and Talent Acquisition teams to support broad-based employee- and manager-engagement programs.

 

Provide Support to Executive, Division, and Regional Leadership:

 

  • Provide leadership and strategic consultation for Entegris’ internal and executive communications
  • Guide communication and engagement plans for key business deliverables/projects
  • Design communication tools / vehicles tailored to the unique needs of each Division and strategic Region
  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with key internal stakeholders

 

Support and Develop an Innovative Suite of Internal Communication Vehicles:

 

  • Publications, leadership communiques, Town Hall Meetings, videos (including overseeing production), Intranet, and other informative and engaging communication vehicles
  • Create a diversified, multichannel approach aimed at reaching office and manufacturing employees around the world.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing team to launch and maintain an editorial calendar for an external blog..

 

Monitor the Internal & External Environment:

 

  • Monitor the effectiveness of communications through networking, surveys, and informal means
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and expertise in the Internal Communications industry, identifying best-in-practice approaches we can adopt at Entegris

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of the full range of communication vehicles and an awareness of the value of each to deliver desired messages most effectively

  • Proven expertise in developing/deploying communication tools and vehicles for managing organizational communications effectively

  • Adept at establishing rapport across all levels of an organization

  • Experience with multinational companies

  • Proven content development skills targeting a variety of audiences

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver results and meet deadlines

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management

  • Outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic and always up for the next challenge
