Overview

Entegris is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist for the Burnet, Texas location. The position will manage performance of factory order fulfillment, customs import /export compliance, and deliver world class customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the domestic and international transportation process to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate inventory movements, which includes shipment coordination, load planning, internal/external communications and preparation of shipping documents for goods movements to/from storage warehouses or production facility to/from suppliers and customers;
  • Ensures DOT, GHS and HAZMAT compliance for material movements;
  • Delivers efficient and effective receiving/ delivery process to meet all key performance measurement indicators supporting Entegris business model of same business day / next business day service agreement;
  • Works closely with Sales and Customer Service as one team to enhance overall Customer satisfaction;
  • Establishes, maintains and seeks corrective action on key Distribution / Warehousing service metrics failures;
  • Evaluates transportation costs and provides assistance in transportation cost quotations for strategic scenarios;
  • Responsible for monthly warehouse inventory reconciliations;
  • Ensures export, import regulatory and financial inventory control compliance.

Qualifications

  • 3 + years of Hazardous Material shipping experience;
  • Experience in distribution, logistics and inventory management preferred;
  • Familiar with US import and export customs procedures, management of US controlled products and basic GST knowledge;
  • IATA, IMDG and DOT certifications strongly preferred. If not already certified, must be able to obtain certifications within 180 days of employment;
  • SAP experience strongly preferred;
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, work with minimal direction and handle conflict in a positive manner;
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with multiple departments including Purchasing, Accounting, Customer service, and Operations;
  • Understanding of "Lean" concepts and strong orientation toward safety, quality, and process improvement;
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
