The Role

Entegris is seeking a detail-orientated, Engineering Coordinator who enjoys working in a dynamic team environment that is focused on continuous improvement.  As the optimal candidate, you are someone who builds rapport with ease and enjoys all aspects of communication.  You are analytical…data mining and problem solving are second nature to you.  You lead by example and have knack for influencing others toward a course of action. In this role you will

  • Receives Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and evaluate components for accuracy and completeness;
  • Performs technical review of ECR’s and ECO’s to established standards;
  • Formats change information according to system requirements;
  • Processes ECR’s and convert to Engineering Change Orders (ECO) based on system requirements;
  • Communicates information internally to those affected by the changes;
  • Maintains data integrity in SAP systems;
  • Performs various manufacturing data support actions such as changing routings, extending plant data and changing material master procurement information;
  • Maintains document and drawing records according to configuration management practices;
  • Develops/implements/maintains technical standards for drawings, parts descriptions;
  • Establishes ECR/O process metrics, data reporting package, performance;
  • Provides input, direction and training to engineering department;
  • Leads and participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Three years minimum or an equivalent combination of Data/Document Management training and experience;
  • Experience with manufacturing bills of material, labor routings/standards, ERP/MRP systems and PLM;
  • Requires excellent organizational skills in order to simultaneously coordinate the completion of multiple ECR’s/ECO’s and other documentation tasks timely and effectively;
  • Good computer skills with experience working with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Working knowledge of SAP strongly preferred;
  • Analytical ability to understand how pieces of data relate to each other to detect and prevent inappropriate transactions and data entry.
