Overview

Entegris is seeking an Account Manager to join our sales team and base in Tokyo or Osaka, Japan.

 

This position will be responsible for managing several customers including major semiconductor manufacturers/wafer growers in Japan in working with product marketing team, R&D team, logistic team, customer support team, and other teams if necessary.

 

The ideal candidate will enjoy building relationship with customers to find out new business opportunity and maintain existing business with strong communication skill.

 

In addition to building relationship with the customers, leading and collaborating with a wide variety of functional groups is another important skill which the candidate should have.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goal and profitability;
  • Own customers evaluations to ensure sharp execution and that the benefits of the results are aligned with customers task (buying) motives and presented in a professional manner;
  • Work as an account team member to identify, develop, and prioritize the opportunities using Entegris’ value selling process;
  • Lead and collaborate with a wide variety of functional groups including Product Marketing, Field Application Engineering, and R&D to accomplish the product penetration into customers for Entegris’ process solution;
  • Maintains contact with customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Control expenses to meet budget guideline;
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. To sell and promote products within as assigned account;
  • Sets examples for Account Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits;
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus;
  • Solid knowledge in semiconductor process including wet chemical, deposition, specialty gas, or implant process;
  • Experience with full time working in a high tech environment especially in a market related to semiconductor;
  • Experience as a sales or a project manager;
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English;
  • Strong project management and communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers.
