Overview

Entegris is seeking a Financial Analyst. This role will  provide financial reporting and analysis related to Operations Manufacturing. The position reports to the Plant Controller. and provides support to the Plant Controller and to Manufacturing Managers and staff.

Responsibilities

Month End Close:

  • Assists in month-end manufacturing cost accounting close.
  • Prepares monthly Net Plant report and monthly Plant Review presentation.
  • Provides performance analysis/metrics to plant management

 

Operations Reporting & Analysis:

 

  • Prepares weekly/biweekly Operations Metrics reporting.
  • Researches and communicates the causes of operations variances and gaps with Operations Metrics Target.
  • Conduct reporting and analysis on Plant Metrics and Plant Finances to assist PDCA cycle management of the plant operations.
  • Uses SAP system/BW/BO as standard tools for reporting and analysis to a maximum extent.

 

Planning & Forecasting:

 

  • Assists in completing annual Cost Center spending budgets and periodic spending forecasts.
  • Researches costing errors and corrects errors as necessary.
  • Assists in completion of periodic standard cost and work center rate calculations.

 

Plant Support:

  • Collaborates with manufacturing engineering, Black Belts and Green Belts to provide plant performance and variance analysis results, which directs management to opportunities for improvement and corrective actions.
  • Acts as a financial adviser to the plant management team.
  • Participates in BU meetings and communicates strategies to ensure alignment with Plant Operations.

  • Demonstrates willingness to complete any tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.
  • With forward-looking attitude not to be afraid of change, helps plant management to identify opportunities for changes/new things that help plant operations to move forward to right direction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment/cost function;
  • Finance reporting systems and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
  • Accounting skills;
  • Strategic thinking with understanding on how the dynamics of outside of the plant will be affecting to inside of the plant;
  • Lean Accounting;
  • A3 Thinking/A3 Report;

  • Part and product knowledge;
  • Ability to utilize Finance Costing and Inventory Modules of SAP system;
